Our History

Kingdom World Outreach Center (KWOC) was released into the active call of God. Dr. Y.D. Thoroughgood of the "The Church of the Advent" pronounced the pastorate of Elder Chris A. Mitchell Sr. in the presence of the assembly of the saints.

"The status quo is no longer acceptable, it is time for the release of God's call on our lives. We are no longer to be boxed in and restricted from pursuing God's purpose in our lives."

Amongst the witnesses was the core group of our extended family and Pastor Thoroughgood assembled them in the front of the congregation. His purpose as it unfolded was to charge them with the responsibility to support and to be the First Fruits of the Ordained Ministry. The Blessing was pronounced over all that raised their hands in commitment to the call of God on our lives.

The word of the Lord received Saturday, March the 26th 2005 at approximately 9 am. "He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the woks of the devil." 1 John 3:8

Our Objective

As the Ambassadors of Christ is to continue the finished work of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That being to destroy the works of the devil in the lives of humanity through the promulgation of the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ the Word of God. To actively be the Emissaries of restoration and repairers of the breach of sin in this perverse society and world. To maintain consistent focus on our surrounding communities need for evangelism, yet develop and sustain a national as well international outreach support system to reach the world for Christ's Kingdom.

Our Focus

Strengthen, develop and nurture families and individuals of all cultures, races, religions in the fear of our Father God, through the total surrender of our Lord Jesus Christ by the empowerment of the promised helper, the Holy Ghost. We shall daily present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy acceptable to God, which is our reasonable service, according to Romans 12:1. We will be committed to the renewing of our minds by the cleansing of the Word of God, desiring with all diligence to live Holy before God and man, strictly adhering to the precepts of the Word of God as the only infallible truth which governs our lives. We will consider ourselves dead to this world system and alive to Christ, exemplifying this reality through our daily conduct maintaining an eternal perspective while we function within our areas of influence.

Our Goal

To become totally consumed by and immersed in the love of God, seeking first His Kingdom and His righteousness, loving our neighbors as ourselves, according to Matthew 22:37-39 and John 13:34-35. We shall be quick to expose the sin in our own lives thereby walking free from the guilt and shame it endeavors to cause. We shall be always ready to give an answer for the hope we have in Christ. Walking in the confidence of Christ equipped to minister life to the lost or hurting. We shall be committed to KWOC as our home church family and always endeavoring to maintain the spirit of unity and bonds of peace. We will aggressively contend for the faith, not giving place to nor offering ease of access to the enemy through any means of strife, contention, or any such other device or offense. We will be committed to proper spiritual authority and church discipline.
